Casey Kniser focuses on commercial litigation, including patent and trademark litigation, as well as breach-of-contract and employment litigation. Mr. Kniser also has experience successfully defending companies in class actions involving alleged breaches of data security and non-compliance with privacy regulations. He has over 20 years of experience in courts across the country, including in Delaware and Texas.

Mr. Kniser manages Inter Partes Reviews and other post-grant proceedings, and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Mr. Kniser also advises companies on data security / privacy regulatory compliance.

Mr. Kniser boasts particularly deep experience relating to the Internet, computer software, and security technologies.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Kniser served as a criminal lawyer in the US Navy JAG Corps and worked with NCIS and FBI cybercrime investigations. While in the Navy, he also served as a federal prosecutor for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Norfolk, Virginia.
